Synopsis
A 3D-animated edutainment series set in a magical tropical coral reef. Shorty (a funny reef ocean perch), his smart sister Indigo, and his best mate Jake (a laid-back sawfish) take young viewers on comic adventures that combine character-driven storytelling with ocean science and environmental awareness. Tagline: 'A must-sea TV-series on environmental topics — creating awareness by laughing & learning.' Positioned as the first animated TV series dedicated to environmental topics.

- "The Goldfish" — Fresh or salt water, that is the question — Vincent, a goldfish abandoned by humans, can't survive in salt water; the trio learns about freshwater vs. saltwater biology, river outfalls, and inclusion.
- "The Whale School" — Big mammals, big problems — Migrating whales rest at the reef; a calf (Mobby) gets trapped in a shipwreck and his mother is sick from swallowing plastic. Teaches whale biology, migration, and plastic pollution.
- "Picasso of the Ocean" — Art from the heart — Riccu the pufferfish lacks the confidence to create the geometric sand art his species uses to attract mates. Teaches creativity, self-confidence, team spirit.
- "The Ocean Has a Fever" — Heat and cheat at the big race — A reef race exposes cheating yellow surgeonfish while warming water causes oxygen drops. Teaches climate change, oxygen loss, coral bleaching, fair play.
- "Catch Me If You Can" — A new case for the trap-police — The reef's "trap-police" crabs and a visit to Fonso's "fishing museum"; the group rescues a diver trapped in a cage. Teaches hunting methods, empathy, perspective.
- "The Submarine" — A circus for the yellow intruder — A submarine intrudes on the reef; Shorty stages a "show" to scare it off but ends up rescuing the human crew. Teaches dive tourism, reef ecosystems, spawning grounds.
- Predecessor brand 'Kaluoka'hina – The Enchanted Reef' (Softmachine, 2002–2004) is the first fulldome program ever with a plot, with 5M+ viewers, sold into 48 countries, translated into 30 languages, 15 years and still licensed.
